Ahoy, campers! One of OVR’s most beloved traditions—Pirate Weekend (June 19-21) is  bigger than ever! Get ready for a swashbuckling celebration filled with candy, treasure, music, and memories for the whole crew.

The excitement kicks off Friday night as Captain Kidd’s legendary Pirate Float once again descends upon OVR, sailing through the campground and tossing candy to all the young buccaneers gathered along the route. Keep your eyes peeled—you never know what surprises the Captain has in store!

As night falls, grab your blankets and head to the Courtyard for a Pirate Movie under the stars at sunset. It’s the perfect way to end an action-packed first night on the high seas.

Saturday morning at 9:30, the hunt is on! Join us for a thrilling Treasure Hunt, where brave adventurers will search the beach  for hidden loot. Clues, surprises, and golden glory await!

When the sun goes down, the party rises—sharpen your hooks and polish your boots for the Buccaneer Ball on Saturday night! Come dressed in your finest pirate attire and dance the night away with your fellow seadogs.

Sunday morning we close out our Pirate celebration with a Sand Sculpting Contest a the lake beach starting a 9 am. Prizes will be awarded for the best creations! 

AND, we can't forget to celebrate DAD.  Join us at the Camp Store for Donuts with Dad beginning at 9 am we will offer complimentary donuts, while supplies last, and coffee for dad and their families!
