Welcome back, campers! Ocean View Resort officially opens for the 2027 season on April 16th. Come enjoy the crisp spring air, get your campsite set up, and relax by your first campfire of the year as we kick off another great camping season at the Shore.

Reservations for 2027 begin in October 2026.

Ahoy, mateys! Set sail for a swashbucklin' good time this Pirates Weekend on June 19, 2027. Gather yer crew and meet down by the lake at 9:30 AM sharp for our grand Treasure Hunt! To ensure every young buccaneer gets a fair shot at claimin' their share of the booty, the hunt will be split into two separate diggin' grounds based on the ages of the wee scallywags.

After the treasures be found, drop anchor for even more pirate fun:

• Temporary Tattoos: Get branded like a true sailor of the high seas.
• Photo Ops: Pose with yer hearties and capture the memories afore ye walk the plank.
  Weigh anchor, don yer best eye patch, and prepare for a mornin' of high-seas adventure!

Join us for a cornhole tournament! It is free to play; prizes for top 3 teams. 

Check in from 10:30-10:50 am. We will begin games at 11:00 am sharp. 

This is held at the non-swimming side of the lake.

Format: Round Robin 3 games (everyone gets 3 games gaurenteed); top 50% of teams are placed in a single bracket and begin elimination rounds.

Ocean View Resort Campground brings a little bit of spooky and a whole lotta fun with OVR's Halloween in August! The entire 180-acre resort transforms with spooky decorations, while campers turn their sites into eerie masterpieces.
There are Halloween-themed events all weekend including a spooky craft, movies, and more. Kids (and kids-at-heart) enjoy trick-or-treating right in the campground, where the next candy stop is just a site away. Then dance the night away at the Monster Mash where you can show off your costume and enter the annual costume contest! Our official event schedule will be posted online at ovresort.com.
This is one of our most popular themed weekends of the year.

Grab your buckets and costumes—it’s time for safe, fun trick-or-treating all around OVR! Kids (and kids-at-heart) can visit participating sites from 6–8 PM in a festive, decorated campground setting where the next candy stop is always close by.

Site renters: Want trick-or-treaters to stop by your site? Pick up an orange pumpkin in the office. Display it so families know it’s okay to visit.
